David Whitman was a true gentleman as dealt with me , a sixty five year old beginner pilot. The Venice flying community has lost a wonderful advocate and friend. Ken Brooke. Muskoka , Canada

PPL Checkride, 2008, All went well till my first landing in which I greased the plane onto the runway… Mr Whitman pulled back on the yoke and we were back in the air… I then landed a second time… He said this plane wasn’t done flying yet… Did it right after that and ever since. Thank you.

How funny. Same thing happened to me. “Look at all that energy.” I never forgot that lesson.
